2. After logging into the server, run File Manager, and then run the HP AutoPilot
Setup program located in the following subdirectory on the HP NetServer
Navigator CD-ROM:
x :\autoplt\server\disk1\winnt\setup.exe
where x is the CD-ROM drive containing the HP NetServer Navigator CD-ROM.
NOTE If the SNMP service is running on your HP NetServer, the NSA 3.0 Setup
program will detect it and stop it for you. You cannot install the HP
AutoPilot software while the SNMP service is running.
3. When the NSA setup is complete, restart the server. Once the server has restarted,
SNMP service should start up automatically. If it does not initiate the service
manually, change the startup configuration (in Control Panel/Services) for
automatic startup.
Upon successful installation, HP AutoPilot displays a message on your HP
AutoPilot Client as soon as you restart an HP NetServer running NSA software.
The message verifies operational service and demonstrates that HP AutoPilot is
communicating properly with the identified HP NetServer.
