In the Resynchronize Volume Pair dialog box, select the Resync Type as follows:
CAUTION:
Make sure to select the correct resync direction.
Normal Copy(S->T) to resynchronize the pair(s) normally. All differential data is updated
to the T-VOL.
Quick Resync(S->T) to immediately change pair status to Duplex. Resynchronization of
data does not occur immediately. Differential data is copied during update copying.
Reverse Copy(T->S) to copy the T-VOL data to the S-VOL so that the two volumes are
resynchronized. All differential data is updated to the S-VOL.
Quick Restore(T->S) to swap the S-VOL and T-VOL. Any differential data between the
volumes is copied during update copying.
7.
From Copy Pace, select the pace at which the pair(s) are to be resynchronized, Slower, Medium,
or Faster. Copy Pace affects the host I/O performance: a slower pace minimizes impact, a
faster pace has the greatest impact. The pace you select is applied for all pairs in the operation.

NOTE:
If you try to perform the quick restore operation to the pair you select from the
Resynchronize Volume Pair Volume List that is composed of volumes stored in multiple cache
logical partitions (CLPRs), a message asking you whether you want to click OK and continue
the operation will appear. Click OK if you do, or click Cancel if you want to discontinue the
quick restore operation.
9.
In the Pair Operation window, review the information in the Preview list. To change a selection,
right-click it, select Modify, and make any changes.
10. Click Apply to commit the operation to the system.
