Removing The System Board

1. Follow the procedures in
secure digital (SD) Card .
2. Remove the
ExpressCard .
3. Remove the
battery .
4. Remove the
base cover .
5. Remove the
display assembly .
6. Remove the
optical drive .
7. Remove the
hard drive .
8. Remove the
wireless local area network (WLAN) card .
9. Remove the
wireless wide area network (WWAN) card .
10. Remove the
heat-sink .
11. Remove the
processor .
12. Remove the
memory .
13. Remove the
Bluetooth .
14. Remove the
modem card .
15. Remove the
keyboard trim .
16. Remove the
keyboard .
17. Remove the
palm rest assembly .
18. Remove the
ExpressCard cage .
19. Remove the
20. Disconnect and release coin-cell battery cable and the power connector
cable from the system board.
