Listening to Voice Messages
To listen to voice messages, open your Windows Messaging Inbox by
clicking the Inbox icon, then double-click a voice message item. Voice
message items are labeled "Voice Message". The Voice Message dialog
box now opens and the message starts playing.
If you don't want your messages to play back as soon as you open them,
deselect Play at Open from the Options menu. After doing this, you
must click the Play button to play back messages.
Warning
Always turn the volume down before listening through the headphones or
speakers for the first time. Listening to loud sounds for prolonged periods of
time may permanently damage your hearing.
The bars in the lower part of the dialog box give you a visual idea of
how long the message is. Click one of these bars to play back that part
of the message.
You can adjust the playback speed using the slider.
