Properly insert the Gam e Disc and M em ory
C ard into your Nintendo Gam eC ube system and
turn the pow er O N. Press ST ART/PAUSE on the
title screen to access the File-Selection screen.

Follow the instructions on-screen and press
Legend of Zelda: The W ind W aker on the M em ory C ard in Slot A.
Beginning a New Game
O n the File-Selection screen, choose one of the three Q uest Logs
and press

Continuing a Game
If you have a previously saved gam e, you can continue
playing. O n the File-Selection screen, just choose the
Q uest Log you w ant to continue playing.
Saving Y our Gam e
C opying and Erasing Saved D ata
• Y ou m ust have 12 blocks of m em ory available on the M em ory C ard in
Slot A in order to save.
• O nce you have played and saved a gam e, you can continue playing anytim e
you like. Just insert the M em ory C ard w ith your saved data for The Legend
of Zelda: The W ind W aker into Slot A to continue playing.
Please refer to your Nintendo Gam eC ube Instruction Booklet for inform ation
about erasing gam e files and form atting your M em ory C ard.

The Main Screen

The Life Gauge and Magic Meter
If you take dam age from enem ies and
run out of hearts, your gam e w ill be over.
Item s that consum e m agic pow er w hen
you use them w ill gradually deplete your
m agic m eter.
Area Map
indicates Link's location and the direction he is
facing. The arrow in the top-right corner of the
screen indicates the direction the w ind is blow ing in.
