Insignia NS-DV111080F Camcorder Firmware Version 1.06 Update Instructions
The instructions below describe how you can check the firmware version on your
Insignia NS-DV111080F camcorder and the steps to update it to the latest firmware
version if needed.
About This Update:
Firmware version 1.06 improves the motion stabilization function of your camcorder.
Only camcorders with the original firmware version 1.05 would benefit from this update.
If your Insignia camcorder model NS-DV111080F shows version 1.06, it already has the
new firmware and no further action is needed.
To check the firmware version of your camcorder follow below steps:
1. With the camcorder off, place the mode switch to camera mode as shown below.
2. Turn on the power to the camcorder (open LCD cover or press the power button).
3. Press and hold the silver 4-way navigation button on the back of the camcorder for
6 seconds or more.
4. After about 4-6 seconds, the camcorder firmware version will display on the LCD
as FW: A86-V1.05.
