    2. Hardware Installation Note: Locate an optimum location for the Access Point. The best place for the Access Point is usually at the center of your wireless network. Please connect the computer configuring the TEW-637AP to the same router. It is recommended to use a wired computer to configure the TEW-637AP.
  • Page 5 5. Select the TEW-637AP from the List and then click Configure. 6. Enter the password and then click Login. By default, the password is admin. 7. The TEW-637AP will receive an IP Address automatically from your router. Copy down the IP Address and then click Next.
  • Page 6 9. Enter a SSID and then click Next. By default, the SSID is TRENDnet637 10. Select a Security Mode and then click Next (example shows WPA-PSK). 11. Enter a Pre-Shared key and then click Next. For WPA-PSK or WPA2-PSK, the Pre-Shared Key must be between 8 and 64 characters.

    First, press on the WPS button on the front of the TEW-637AP for 10 seconds. Second, refer to your wireless adapters for instructions on setting up WPS. If you still encounter problems or have any questions regarding the TEW-637AP, please contact TRENDnet's Technical Support Department.
