You can mute the microphone during conversation by
selecting the Mute option from the In-Use menu. When Mute
is active, "MUTE" displays. The phone resets this condition to
the default (Un)Mute setting at the end of your call.
To mute the microphone during a call:
1. During a conversation, press
menu.
2. Press

hear your conversation. "MUTE" displays on the screen.
3. To "unmute" the microphone during the same
conversation, repeat steps 1 and 2. Selecting the
(Un)Mute option toggles Mute on and off.
