USB interface
Connection with PC
1. Connect USB cable into USB
connector on the PC.
2. Connect USB cable into the proper
terminal of camcorder. (USB jack)
Reference
If you disconnect the USB cable from PC or camcorder during
transferring, the data transmission may stop and it could cause to
damage data.
If you connect the USB cable to PC via USB HUB or connect the USB
cable with other USB devices simultaneously, The camcorder may not
work properly.
– In this case, remove other USB devices from the PC and
reconnect the camcorder.
If the PC trys to find driver files after program installation, identify the
path (folder) as following
– D:\Driver (When CD-ROM is set to "D:")
If the USB cable is connected to camcorder, DELETE,
(MEM. _ ) buttons are not available in the DSC-
(MEM. + ),
PLAYER mode and the START/STOP button is not available in DSC-
CAMERA mode.
If you connect the IEEE1394(DV) and USB at the same time, the USB
may not operate normally function.

Si desconecta el cable USB del PC o de la videocámara durante la
transferencia, puede detenerse la transmisión de datos y podría dañar
los datos.
Si conecta el cable USB al PC mediante un concentrador USB o si
conecta el cable USB a otros dispositivos USB simultáneamente, es
posible que la videocámara no funcione correctamente.
– En este caso, desconecte los otros dispositivos USB del PC y
vuelva a conectar la videocámara.
Si el PC intenta encontrar los archivos de controlador después de la
instalación del programa, identifique la ruta (carpeta) de la manera
siguiente.
– D:\Driver (cuando el CD-ROM esté configurado en "D:")
(SLIDE),
Si se ha conectado el cable USB a otra cámara de vídeo, los botones,
DELETE, (SLIDE),
disponibles en el modo DSC-PLAYER y el botón START/STOP no se
encuentra disponible en el modo DSC-CAMERA.
Si se conecta IEEE 1394(DV) y USB al mismo tiempo, es posible que
el USB no funcione de manera normal.
