Moving one track

Use the following procedure to select a track
and move and insert it to the position of the
desired track number. Multiple tracks can be
moved and reordered by repeating the pro-
cedure for each track. The track numbers
before and after the moved track are ad-
justed automatically.

Select the MD input and load a
prerecorded MD.

Press the 4 or ¢ key repeat-
edly to select the track number to
be moved.
The track will be played back.

Press the TRACK EDIT key repeat-
edly until " 3 MOVE?" is dis-
played, then press the SET key.

Press the 4 or ¢ key repeat-
edly to select the move destina-
tion position where you want to
insert the moved track, and press
the SET key.
Display when a track has been moved af-
ter track No.6.

Press the ENTER key.

Press the 0 EJECT key on the
main unit to eject the MD.
"MD WRITING" is displayed.
To cancel the MOVE operation in the mid-
dle :
Press the TRACK EDIT key any time before
the end of step 4.
Editing can be canceled provided that it is
attempted before "MD WRITING" is dis-
played. For the procedure, see "Canceling
editing" (page 53).
÷ Be careful not to turn power off or apply
shock or vibrations to the system while "MD
WRITING" is displayed.
