Sleep timer (SLEEP)

When the time set for the SLEEP time has
elapsed, the system is turned off automati-
cally. The time until the system is turned off
can be selected in 10-minute steps up to 90
minutes.

until the desired OFF time.
Each press increments the period by
10 minutes.
10 = 20 ··· 80 = 90 = cancel = 10 ···

Press the SLEEP key during execution of
the sleep timer.
To cancel sleep timer :
Press the SLEEP key repeatedly until
"SLEEP" turns off.

Sleep timer time
Auto power save (A.P.S.)
The system can be set up so that it turns off
automatically when it has been left for more
than 30 minutes with all of its CD player, MD
recorder and tape deck in stop mode or with
its volume set to "0" while the selected in-
put is "TUNER" or "AUX". This facility is con-
venient for preventing accidentally leaving
the system power ON.

Rotate the VOLUME/MULTI-CON-
TROL knob so that "A.P.S. SET ?"
is displayed, then press the SET
key.
