SCMS (Serial Copy Management System)
SCMS is a new standard which allows you to make only first generation copies of digital sources
(CD, etc.) which contain a copy prohibition code.

Sources which contain a copy prohibition code include the following: COs and some commercially
available OAT music tapes.
