About the Menu Function

Settings (* : Initial setting)
Sets the alarm.
ON:
The alarm function is effective.
Set the date, time or day of the
week or choose daily for
playback, and set the following
alarm pattern.
Beep&Play: The selected file is
played back after the
alarm sounds.
Beep: Only the alarm sounds.
Play: Only the selected file is
played back.
OFF * : The alarm function is canceled.
Sets the AVLS (Automatic Volume
Limiter System) function.
ON * :
The AVLS function that
maintains a moderate volume
level is effective when listening
with the headphones.
OFF:
The AVLS function does not
work and the sound is played
back at the original volume.
Notes
 When you turn off the function, please
be careful not to listen to an excessive
volume of the sound.
 When you listen to the sound using
the headphones for the specific period
of time, the AVLS function is
automatically turned on even if you set
"AVLS" to "OFF" in the menu.
 If you adjust the volume to a level that
exceeds the AVLS-specified level, the
volume will be set to a moderate
volume level when you turn off the IC
recorder.
