Changing the Recording Settings

Selecting a recording scene for each situation

According to various recording scene, you can change the items for recording,
such as REC Mode (  p. 67), Mic Sensitivity (  p. 67), etc., to the
recommended settings in bulk. You can change the settings for each item.
In the stop mode, press MENU/NOISE CUT. Select
the tab
Press  or  to select a scene you want, and then press /ENT.
Press  STOP to exit the menu mode.

(Meeting)
(Voice Notes)
(Interview)
(Lecture)
(Audio IN)
(My Scene)
"Scene Select," and then press /ENT.
Descriptions
To record in a variety of situations, such as recording in
a spacious conference room.
To record dictation with a microphone in front of your
mouth.
To record human voice at a distance of 1 to 2 meters (40
to 80 in.).
To record a wide range of sound, such as a lecture in a
classroom or a chorus lesson.
To record from external equipment, such as a television,
portable CD/MD player or a tape recorder, connected to
the IC recorder via an audio output connector (stereo
mini-jack) with an audio connecting cable for dubbing.
Use to keep your favorite settings.
