Palm Rest: Dell Inspiron XPS and Inspiron 9100 Service Manual
1 M2.5 x 8-mm screws labeled "P" (3)
7. Turn the computer top-side up and remove the four M2.5 x 6-mm screws
labeled "P."
8. Disconnect the touch-pad connector from the system board.
9. Slide the palm rest forward and remove it from the computer.
