4. Input/output signal settings

4-7. Setting the multi view display

The input images, program images and preview images can be output side by side on one screen on the external
monitor. There are three display modes for multi view display where the screen is divided into 10 parts, 4 parts or
8 parts.
Inputs 1 to 8, frame memories and color background can be assigned to sub-screens 1 to 8.
The images of the program output material are displayed with red frames around them.
<Display modes>
10-division modes A, B (10SPL-A, B):
Eight images are displayed in these modes: the program (PGM) image, preview (PVW) image, input images
or frame memory images, and color background (CBGD) image.
4-division mode (4SPL):
Four images are displayed in this mode: the input images or frame memory images, and color background
(CBGD) image.
8-division modes A, B (8SPL-A, B):
Six images are displayed in these modes: the program (PGM) image, preview (PVW) image, input images or
frame memory images, and color background (CBGD) image.
In this mode, the aspect ratio can be kept at 16:9 for the display of HD format images when these images
are displayed in the SXGA size from the DVI output (option).
(Size is set to "SXGA" and Scale is set to "5:4" using the DVI output settings.)
