LIMITED ONE YEAR WARRANTY
Insignia Products ("Insignia") warrants to you, the original purchaser of this new 17" CRT monitor, Model #C170 ("Product")
shall be free of defects in the original manufacture of the material or workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date
of your purchase of the Product ("Warranty Period"). This warranty does not cover refurbished Product. If you notify Insignia
during the Warranty Period of a defect covered by this warranty that requires warranty service terms of this warranty apply.
During the Warranty Period, if the original manufacture of the material or workmanship of the Product is determined to be
defective by an authorized Insignia repair center, Insignia will (at its sole option): (1) repair the Product with new or rebuilt
parts; or (2) replace the Product with a new or rebuilt comparable product parts. Products and parts replaced under this
warranty become the property of Insignia and are not returned to you. If service of Products or parts is required after the
Warranty Period expires, you must pay all labor and parts charges.
This warranty does not cover any losses or damages that occur as a result of:
• Shipping, transportation or improper installation or maintenance
• Misuse
• Neglect
• Any cause resulting from commercial or industrial application
• Repair or maintenance by a non-authorized Insignia servicer
• Repair, modification or installation of options or parts by anyone other than an Insignia authorized service center
• Improper operating/storage environment
• Excessive or inadequate heating or air conditioning or electrical power failures, surges or other irregularities
• Acts of God
• Lightning strikes
In addition, this warranty does not cover the following:
• Cosmetic damage, including cracked, scratched, broken or modified plastic
• Parts that have been altered, defaced or removed
• Scratches on glass
This warranty is void if the factory applied serial number has been altered or removed from the Product. This warranty
does not cover Products sold AS IS or WITH ALL FAULTS, or consumables (such as fuses or batteries).
Warranty service can only be supported in the United States and Canada. To obtain warranty service, you must take the
Product with your original receipt, either in its original packaging or packaging affording an equal degree of protection, to
your nearest Best Buy or FutureShop retail store. Or for technical support, please go to the Insignia Products website at

This warranty is valid for Products purchased within the United States and Canada only. This warranty gives you specific
legal rights, and you may have other rights which vary from state to state, or province to province.
INSIGNIA PRODUCTS MAKES NO OTHER EXPRESS WARRANTIES WITH RESPECT TO THE PRODUCT. ALL EXPRESS AND
IMPLIED WARRANTIES FOR THE PRODUCT, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF AND
CONDITIONS OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE
WARRANTY PERIOD SET FORTH ABOVE AND NO WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WILL APPLY AFTER
THE WARRANTY PERIOD. SOME STATES, PROVINCES AND JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG
AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL INSIGNIA PRODUCTS BE LIABLE IN ANY WAY TO YOU, THE END-USER OR ANY
THIRD PARTY FOR ANY DAMAGES IN CONNECTION WITH THE SALE, PURCHASE OR USE OF THE PRODUCT, INCLUDING,
BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ANY LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF BUSINESS, LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF USE OF THE HARDWARE
PRODUCT OR ANY ASSOCIATED PERIPHERALS, COST OF REPLACEMENT PRODUCT, DOWN-TIME, CHARGES FOR YOUR
TIME AND EFFORT, OR ANY OTHER DIRECT, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES WHETHER
OR NOT FORESEEABLE AND WHETHER OR NOT BASED ON BREACH OF LIMITED WARRANTY, CONTRACT OR NEGLIGENCE,
EVEN IF INSIGNIA PRODUCTS HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. SOME STATES, PROVINCES
OR JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES,
SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
