The available flash range
If the distance to the subject is close when taking a picture using a flash, part of the recorded
image becomes dark because the light of flash is blocked by the lens or it becomes out of flash
range. Check the distance to the subject when taking a picture. The distance at which light from
the flash is blocked by lens, and the distance to which light from the flash is delivered vary
depending on the lens used.
