Balance: The control behind the upper knob allows you
to balance the sound between the right and left speakers.
Balance is graphically displayed.
Lower Knob: The lower knob does the following:

Turn the lower knob to tune radio stations. The TUNE
knob increases and decreases station frequency when it
is held slightly rotated against the spring load. Turn the
knob to tune slowly. If you hold the knob in the
position, it will begin to tune rapidly.
Push BAND to get AM, FMl or FM2.
The control behind the lower knob fades the sound
between the front and rear speakers. When the
control is held, the position is graphically displayea.
RCL: Push RCL to display the time when the ignition is
off. With the radio on, and the time displayed, push RCL
to display the frequency.
Finding a Station
SEEK: Press SEEK 4 or b to cause the receiver to
search for the next lower or higher listenable station and
stop.
SCAN: When you press SCAN, the radio will go to the
next station, pause and keep scanning until you press
SCAN again.
Presets: The five (1 -5) pushbuttons let you return to
favorite stations. You can set the pushbuttons for up to
15 radio stations (five AM, five FMl and five FM2).
1. Tune in the desired station.
2. Push the SET button.
3. Within five seconds, push one of the five
pushbuttons. Whenever you push that pushbatton,
the preset station will return.

Press the SET button with the ignition on and the
radio off.
Within five seconds, push and hold SCAN until the
correct hour appears.
Press and hold SEEK 4 or b until the correct minute
appears.
Setting the Tone
BASS: Press BASS

increase or decrease bass
tones. For the BASS preset level, press the center of the
control. The bass setting is graphically displayed for a
few seconds.
TREB: Press TREB
A

to increase or decrease
treble tones. Press the center of the TREB control for the
preset level. The treble setting is graphically displayed
for a few seconds.
