- Page 2 Assembly Instructions Note. Right and Left direction are from the operator position. The lower skid plate, If so equipped, may need to be removed. Please retain plate and hardware to be reinstalled if the plate is removed.. With the mounting tabs toward the front as shown, mount the brackets using the U Bolts (item 2) which mount over the frame rails Snug the plate to the frame and slip it rearward to line up with the Footrest weld.
