battery has similar characteristics to the NiCd pack, except that it is not susceptible to the memory
effect. However, they should never be charged at a rate higher than 1C. They should never be
discharged lower as 1.2V per cell.
Lead-Acid batteries with a capacity of 0.5-20Ah.The characteristics of lead-acid batteries are very
different from those of NiCd or NiMh packs. Lead-Acid batteries can only deliver low currents relative
to their capacity. They should not be charged at a rate higher than 1/10C.
Operation Instruction
1 Please read right through these instructions before you use the charger for the first time.
2 Connect the discharged battery pack to the charger using the matching charge port.
Please select the correct charge port according to the above table and take great care of the polarity.
3 Connect the charger to an easily accessible 110-240V AC mains socket near to the charger.
The power LED (RED) and appropriate charging LED (RED or ORANGE) should now light up to
indicate that charging is in progress.
4 When the red (orange) LED turns to green, or the calculated charge time has elapsed, this indicates
that the battery is fully charged.
5 Disconnect the battery and the charger.
Caution
1 Do not leave the battery running unsupervised.
2 Be sure to select the correct charge current and use the matching charge port.
3 The charger must be disconnected from the mains before you connect or disconnect batteries.
4 If you connect the charger to the mains socket, but the power LED or charging LED does not light up,
the possible causes of the problem are as follows:
- No mains voltage present at the mains socket, or mains socket defective.
- Charger defective.
- Short-circuit at one of the charge outputs.
- Battery deep-discharged. In this case it is usually sufficient to leave the pack
connected to the charger for a few minutes until the voltage has risen slightly.
-Battery or individual cells defective.
5 Do not disassemble charger. Incorrect reassemble may result in electric shock.
6 Unplug the charger when not in use and remove the batteries.
