                       "                    "    # Satellite Dish Guided Setup tells the Receiver what type of satellite dish you are using, so you must go through it at least once, even if you are only replacing a receiver that was already working.
  • Page 14                    To select a satellite dish type, press the UP and DOWN navigation arrows to highlight the type of satellite dish you have. Note that as you highlight the different satellite dish types, the picture on the right side of the screen changes.

DIRECTV transponders receive information from DIRECTV and rebroadcast it to your satellite dish.
