- Page 3 Diagnose This scanner is specially designed to work with all OBD II compliant vehicles with 11-14volts. 1. Turn the ignition off. 2. Locate the vehicle's 16-pin Data Link Connector (DLC). Refer to the following figure for possible DLC location. For some vehicles with special designs, the DLC may vary.
