We recommend installation with our EPOS™ (Exact Positioning Operating System)
reference station, with wired support if needed. You can also set up an installation with
a boundary wire.

Charging Station

Attach the cap of the charging station from box and tilt it into position. Secure the cables in the charging station using

the integrated grommet.
(Black cable) Connect to the charging station.
- Black Connector
- White Connector (Red/Black cable) Connect to the low voltage cable
- Power Supply From box Mount at least 12in / 30 cm from the ground and plug into outlet.
- Stakes / Screws Secure the cables in the ground with the stakes, attach station to
level ground and secure with the screw.
Important: You MUST use the low voltage cable in box
to connect the power supply to the charging station

Charging Station installation
Choose location where station has:
1. A power outlet nearby.
2. Flat, level ground.
3. A point 3-8 ft in front of the station (called a docking point
(B)) that has a clear view of sky for satellite connection (90°+
field of view above mower).
4. A minimum of 20 ft. / 6 m / (C) free space in front of the
charging station (A).

Choose location where station has:
1. A clear view of the sky (135°+ field of view)
2. A power outlet nearby.
3. A vertical surface to attach to e.g side of building, on a tall
fence or on a pole**.

The Automower® Connect app will guide you though connection and setup.
- Pairing with mower
- When in pairing mode the mower is discoverable for 180 seconds.
- You will connect mower to your wifi network.
- Pairing the mower to Husqvarna cloud enables remote operation.

recreate them to maintain accuracy.

- Once paired you will be prompted to set up the docking point.
- Defining a docking point provides the mower a clear place to connect to satellites (can
take up to 1hr on first operation).
Important: Check your main phone settings to ensure the Automower® Connect app has access to Bluetooth connectivity.

Walk behind the mower as you create virtual bounadaries
The Automower® Connect app will guide you on how to create virtual boundaries to map
the following with the App Drive feature.
- Docking Point - See section above

- A point 3-8 ft in front of the charging station
pauses at this point to gain satellite signals (may pause for approx. 60 minutes on first use)
- Must be in a work area or connected to one via a transport path.
- Waypoints - Intermediate points added to enable the mower to navigate around work areas,
stay out zones and follow transport paths.

- Mowing areas, you can map separate work areas with individual settings and schedules.
- Stay out zones - Zones within your work area that you do not want to mow, e.g. tree mounds.
- Transport paths - Paths for the mower to travel to separate work areas and back to your docking point (B)
to enable the mower to charge.
