Montage
LEBENSGEFAHR
durch Explosion entzündlicher Gase.
 Führen Sie Arbeiten an gasführenden Bauteilen nur dann aus, wenn Sie
für diese Arbeiten eine Konzession besitzen.
 Heizungsanlage stromlos schalten ( Bild 2).
 Gashahn schließen. Hierzu Gashahn eindrücken und ¼ Umdrehung nach rechts
drehen ( Bild 3, [A]).
 Verschluss der Kesseltür mit dem Entlüftungsschlüssel ¼ Umdrehung lösen
( Bild 4, Lupe).
 Verschluss nach unten drücken ( Bild 4) und Kesseltür öffnen.
 Verschraubung ( Bild 5, [1]) an der Gasarmatur lösen und die 4 Stecker
( Bild 5, [2]) an der Gasarmatur abziehen.
 Stecker des Netzanschlusses ( Bild 6, [1]) am Gebläse abziehen.
 Stecker des Tachokabels ( Bild 6, [2]) am Gebläse abziehen. Hierzu die
Verriegelung am Stecker durch Drücken lösen.
 Luftansaugrohr vom Venturi abziehen ( Bild 7).
 Die 4 Schnappverschlüsse an der Brennerabdeckung öffnen ( Bild 8).
 Brennerabdeckung mit Gas-Lufteinheit abnehmen ( Bild 9).
 3 Schrauben ( Bild 10, [1]) lösen und Gasarmatur mit Venturi ( Bild 10, [2])
vom Gebläse abnehmen.
 4 Schrauben ( Bild 11, [1]) lösen und Gasarmatur vom Venturi ( Bild 11, [2])
abnehmen.
 O-Ring ( Bild 12, [1]) herausnehmen.
 Gasdüse ( Bild 13, [1]) herausnehmen.
 Der Gasart entsprechende Gasdüse inklusive mitgeliefertem O-Ring einsetzen
( Tab. 1, Bild 12 und Bild 13).

Umbau nach Propan darf nur durch den Servicedienst von Bosch Thermotechnology
gemacht werden. Für mehr Informationen wenden Sie sich an den Dienst nach Verkauf
My Service (www.myservice.be, Tel. 078 05 07 80).
 Neuen O-Ring ( Bild 1, [3]) am Gebläse einsetzen ( Bild 14).
 Alles in umgekehrter Reihenfolge wieder montieren. Achten Sie beim
Wiedereinsetzen des Brenners darauf, daß sich die Einkerbung auf der rechten
Seite befindet ( Bild 15, Lupe).
 Gashahn öffnen. Hierzu Gashahn eindrücken und ¼ Umdrehung nach links
drehen ( Bild 3, [B]).
 Inbetriebnahmearbeiten gemäß der Installations- und Wartungsanleitung des
Logamax plus GB162-80/100 durchführen und dortiges Inbetriebnahmeprotokoll
neu ausfüllen.

 Aufkleber ( Bild 1, [6]) am Venturi und Verkleidung anbringen.

durch falsch eingestellte Gasarmatur.
 Achten Sie darauf, daß das Gas-Luftverhältnis nach dem Austausch der
Gasdüse erneut eingestellt wird. Siehe hierzu die Installations- und

Wartungsanleitung des Heizgerätes.
KESSELSCHADEN
durch falsches Einstellen des Gas-Luftverhältnisses möglich!
 Gas-Luftverhältnis ausschliesslich in Teillast (Kleinlast) einstellen!
 Gas-Luftverhältnis nur auf Basis des Gas-Luft-Druckunterschiedes und
niemals auf Basis der gemessene Abgaswerte, wie CO/CO

einstellen!

 Achten Sie darauf, daß die Dichtheitskontrolle nach dem Austausch der
Gasdüse durchgeführt wird. Siehe hierzu die Installations- und
Wartungsanleitung des Heizgerätes.
 Kesseltür schließen und Schloss mit dem Entlüftungsschlüssel mit
¼ Umdrehung nach rechts verschließen.

Installation
DANGER OF FATAL ACCIDENT
from explosive gas.
 No naked flames.
 Only carry out work on gas pipework if you are a competent engineer
(e.g. Gas Safe registered).
 Disconnect the heating system from the power supply ( fig. 2).
 Close the gas isolating valve by pushing on the isolating gas valve and turning it
¼ rotation in a clockwise direction ( fig. 3, item A).
 Turn the vent key through ¼ rotation to undo the boiler door lock ( fig. 4,
magnification).
 Push the fastener down ( fig. 4) and open the boiler door.
 Undo the gas valve screw connection ( fig. 5, [1]) and pull the 4 plugs ( fig. 5,
[2]) from the gas valve.
 Pull the mains plug ( fig. 6, [1]) from the fan unit.
 Pull the tacho cable plug ( fig. 6, [2]) from the fan unit while pushing on the plug
lock facility to loosen it.
 Pull the air suction tube from the Venturi ( fig. 7).
 Open the 4 quick clip fastenings on the burner cover ( fig. 8).
 Remove the burner cover with the gas/air unit ( fig. 9).
 Undo the 3 screws ( fig. 10, [1]) and remove the gas valve with the Venturi
( fig. 10, [2]) from the fan unit.
 Undo the 4 screws ( fig. 11, [1]) and remove the gas valve from the Venturi
( fig. 11, [2]).
 Remove the O-ring ( fig. 12, [1]).
 Remove the gas injector ( fig. 13, [1]).
8,4  Install the right gas injector including the enclosed O-ring for the type of gas
supply in question ( table 1, fig. 12 and fig. 13).

 Install the new O-ring ( fig. 1, [3]) on the fan unit ( fig. 14).
 Refit all parts in reverse order. When re-installing the burner plate make sure that
the notch is on the right-hand side ( fig. 15, detailed picture).
 Open the gas isolating valve by pushing on the gas isolating valve and turning it
¼ rotation in an anticlockwise direction ( fig. 3, [B]).
 Carry out the start-up activities in accordance with the Logamax plus
GB162-65/80/100 Installation and servicing instructions and fill out the start-up
report (contained in the Installation and servicing instructions) again.
 Stick both gas classification labels ( fig. 1, [6]) on the venturi and the boiler

cover.
DANGER TO THE BOILER
if the gas valve is set incorrectly.
 Make sure you adjust the gas/air ratio again after replacing the gas
injector. See the Installation and servicing instructions of the boiler
A
assembly.
DANGER TO THE BOILER
by incorrect adjustment of the gas-/air ratio.
 Adjust gas-/air ratio ONLY only with part load! That is mandatory.
 Adjust gas-/air ratio ONLY based on the gas/air pressure differential and
never based on measured flue gas-values such as CO/CO

 Close the boiler door and lock the fastener by turning the vent screw through
¼ rotation in a clockwise direction.
