SITUATION
Difficulty detecting
metal accurately.
Calibration is lost.
Detector does
not operate.
The MetalliScanner
™
detector locates metal through concrete and
most non-metallic materials.
Two scanning methods (Wide and Pinpoint)
provide options for quickly finding plumbing,
duct work, rebar, nails and screws in walls,
floors, and ceilings. It also finds studs in lath
and plaster walls by locating columns of nails
that attach wood lath to the studs. This tool is
also useful for scanning reclaimed or recycled
lumber to find hidden metal before sawing
and planning.
The detector can find ferrous (magnetic) metal
such as 13 mm rebar up to 10 cm deep. It can
also locate non-ferrous (non-magnetic) metal
such as 13 mm copper pipe up to 5 cm deep.
Targets found at the maximum depth may
only be indicated by the first red LED on
the display.
