Installation instructions
The LT 50 CSI and LT 60 CSI
motors are designed to drive roller shut-
ters and awnings.
They are equipped with a back-up
system used to open and close the roller
shutters and awnings in the event of a
power cut: the roller shutter or awning

can be manually opened and closed
using a special integrated crank.
The upper and lower end limits of the
motor can be adjusted using push-
buttons. The push-buttons are covered
by a protective housing which ensures
the motor head is sealed when installed
outdoors with the push-buttons facing
upwards.
1. Safety
1.1 General information
This Somfy product must be installed by
a professional motorisation installer, for
whom these instructions are intended.
Never begin installing without first
checking the compatibility of this prod-
uct with the associated equipment and

accessories.
These instructions describe how to
install, commission and use/operate
this product.
Moreover, the installer must comply
with current standards and legislation
in the country in which the product is
being installed, and inform his custom-
ers of the operating and maintenance
conditions for the product.

Os motores LT 50 CSI e LT 60
CSI foram concebidos para motorizar
estores e toldos.
Estão equipados com um sistema de
abertura e de fecho de emergência dos
estores e dos toldos, em caso de corte
de corrente: A instalação de uma mani-

A regulação dos fins de curso superior
e inferior dos motores, é efectuada atra-
vés de botões de pressão. Os botões
de pressão estão sob uma cobertura de
protecção, que assegura a estanquei-
dade da cabeça do motor quando este
está instalado no exterior, com os botões
de pressão orientados para cima.

Check that the motor has been

Use a crank handle and emergency

crank fitted with a 6 mm square pin or
7 mm hexagonal pin (accessories not
supplied).

1.4 Condições de utilização
Verificar se o motor é entregue com

Utilizar um anel de saída e uma mani-

vela de emergência, equipados com
um eixo quadrado de 6 mm ou um eixo
hexagonal de 7 mm (acessórios não
incluídos).

2. Technical specifications

3. Installation
3.1 Motor preparation
Fit the crown (1) and drive wheel (2)

to the motor.
Measure the length (L1) between the
-
motor head and the end of the drive
wheel.

3.2 Tube preparation
Cut the roller tube to the required
-
length.
Deburr the roller tube and remove the
-
swarf.
For smooth roller tubes, cut a notch
-
with the following measurements:

LT 60 CSI 25 mm 35 mm

3.3 Motor/tube assembly
Slide the motor into the roller tube.

For smooth roller tubes, position the

notch previously cut on the crown.
Fix the roller tube to the drive wheel
-
with 4 x Ø 5 mm self-tapping screws or
4 steel pop rivets of Ø 4.8 mm located:
at least 5 mm from the far end of

the drive wheel: L1 - 5, and

3. Instalação
3.1 Preparação do motor
Montar a coroa (1) e a roda tracção

(2) no motor.
Medir o comprimento (L1) entre a

3.2 Preparação do tubo
Cortar o tubo enrolamento consoante

o comprimento pretendido.
Fresar o tubo enrolamento e eliminar

as aparas.
Tratando-se de tubos de enrolamento

3.3 Montagem motor/tubo

Inserir o motor no tubo enrolamento.

3.4 Fitting the adjustment pull
tabs (optional)
The motor can be supplied, optionally,
with two adjustment pull tabs. These
pull tabs can be used to operate the
adjustment push-buttons when they are
not accessible.
Remove the protective housing.
-
Fit the pull tabs on the motor head.
-
Caution! The protective housing cannot
be refitted when using these pull tabs.

Fixar o tubo enrolamento à roda

3.4 Instalação dos cordões de
regulação (opcional)
Opcionalmente, poderão ser entre-
gues dois cordões de regulação com o
motor. Estes cordões permitem coman-
dar os botões de pressão de regulação
quando estes não estão acessíveis.
Retirar a cobertura de protecção.

Instalar os cordões na cabeça do

motor.
Atenção! Em caso de utilização dos
cordões, a cobertura de protecção não
poderá ser reposta.
