Items Requiring Selective Treatment

Product Disassembly Process

List the basic steps that should typically be followed to remove components and materials requiring selective treatment:

    1. Remove Battery - 4 screws near the edge closest to the port edge.
    2. Remove all feet and front panel by prying or pulling to release flexible plastic holders.
    3. Remove 6 Screws from the top side of the top piece of plastic (SJ671-40001). 2 are on top edge 4 are on the bottom near the expansion ports. There is also 4 screws throug the bottom side (2 on each short edge) There is adhesive so just pull until top piece releases.
    4. Cut or puncture with screw driver and remove plastic film behind the battery. It is attached by adhesive and must be peeled off to reveal the screws that attach to the middle and rear plastic pieces.
    5. Middle plastic piece has 8 screws to remove 4 each along the long edges and 1 each on the short edge.
    6. Remove 6 screws from the small L shaped plastic (SJ671-40012).
    7. Remove 6 screws from near round piece in center (SJ671-40010).
    8. Multiple small PCBs are between the middle and back plastic pieces. Flat cables and copper sheilding can be removed as needed bt pulling tape and pulling.
    9. Attached to SJ674-40010 are several pieces to seatate. Twist the round SD coard cover to remove.
    10. After SJ674-40010 is separated from back panel the metal ring should fall off
    11. Remove Nylon springs
    12. Remove all glass, soft plastic with a pick or comparable tool.
    13. Remove all metal screw keeps and metal attached the double sided tape with a pick or comparable tool..
