Content Database Editor

Toolbars

The display of each toolbar can be toggled via options in the View menu.

Standard Toolbar

The Standard Toolbar provides shortcuts to basic file and edit functions:

Media/Preset Toolbar

The Media/Preset Toolbar provides shortcuts to basic database-oriented functions:

Command - description
Add Media/Preset - Adds a new Media or Preset title to the active Content Data-
base window.
Remove Media/Preset - Removes the selected Media or Preset title from the
active Content Database window.
Move Up - Moves the selected item up in the list (within the active Content Data-
base window).
New Database - Creates a new content database. The
program will prompt you to specify the database type
(Media or Presets).
Open - Opens an existing content database file (*.MXD or
*.PXD).
Save - Saves the current database as a *.MXD (Media
Database) or *.PXD (Presets Database) file.
Cut - Cuts the selected item to clipboard memory.
Copy - Copies the selected item to clipboard memory.
Paste - Pastes the contents of the clipboard at the cursor
position.
About - Opens the About ContentDatabaseEditor dialog.
This dialog displays the following information about your
version of ContentDatabaseEditor:·
Program version and Build number·
NetLinx and Axcess Compiler Build numbers·
AMX copyright information
