WARNINGS
y Proper use and charging of lithium-ion batteries required. Misuse can
cause injury, fi re, or death.
y Not for hazardous areas. Do not use near explosive environments or
fl ammable liquids.
y The light can get hot during use. Do not cover it or place it near
fl ammable materials.
y Avoid direct sunlight and hot environments (e.g., enclosed vehicles).
y Keep away from water, saltwater, and metal objects.
y Discontinue use if the light shows unusual signs (smell, heat, color
change).
y Keep Away from Children.
CHARGING THE LIGHT
Fully charge the light before the fi rst use, if the battery is new or unused for
several months.
y Expose the charging port by rotating the selector ring, located just below
the bezel, all the way to the right.
y Plug the USB-C cable into the port.
y Connect the other end to a power source (wall charger, computer,
vehicle, power bank).
y The charge indicator LED located directly above the port will turn red
while charging and green when complete.
y Typical charge time is approximately 3 hours.
y Close the port by rotating the ring to a light mode.
Battery Status Indicator: When the light is on, the battery indicator shows
the remaining charge on the rechargeable battery. Note: Does not apply to
CR-123 batteries.
y Green: 75% to 100%
y Amber: 50% to 75%
y Red: 25% to 50%
y Flashing Red: Below 25%
OPERATION
Use the rotating ring below the bezel to select the mode - White fl ashlight (W),
Red Floodlight (R), Green fl oodlight (G). Use the tail switch to operate light.
Momentary or Constant-on – Flashlight and Floodlight Modes
y Turn selector ring to W, R, or G to select mode.
y Half press for momentary-on. Release to turn off.
y Full press and click to turn on or off.
Select Brightness Level – White Light Only
y Turn selector ring to W.
y Press and hold to cycle through H-M-L-M-H brightness levels.
y Release switch during the short pause following desired level to save it
as the default.
y The light will remember last selected level the next time it is turned on.
CR-123 BATTERY CARRIER
The CR123 battery carrier allows the USB-568XL to be used with non-
rechargeable lithium batteries.
Load two CR-123 lithium batteries with the positive terminals pointing in
the direction of the arrow. NOTE: The fl ashlight cannot be charged with the
CR-123 carrier installed.
LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY
BPI warrants this product to be free from defects in workmanship and
materials for the original purchaser's lifetime. The Limited Lifetime Warranty
includes the LEDs, housing and lenses. Rechargeable batteries, chargers,
switches, electronics and included accessories are warranted for a period of two
years with proof of purchase. Normal wear and failures which are caused by
accidents, misuse, abuse, faulty installation and lightning damage are excluded.
We will repair or replace this product should we determine it to be defective.
This is the only warranty, expressed or implied, including any warranty of
merchantability or fi tness for a particular purpose.
