GET READY Clean all accessories with warm water and mild detergent and dry them, install all accessories and fill the tank with fresh water. - Page 5 FIRST USE CYCLE Rinse and get your machine ready to operate. This is only required the first time out of the box. Plug the power cord into the outlet, then turn the On/OFF switch on. The machine performs a self-test signaled by the sequential flashing of lights.

DOSING AND TAMPING Depending on the recipe you want to prepare, choose between the single or the double filter basket, and insert it in the portafilter. Using the provided measuring scoop, add finely ground coffee into the filter basket. Make sure that you are using a fine grind, specific for espresso. - Page 7 BREWING Place a cup under the portafilter. Press the single cup button to start brewing. Espresso delivery will start and stop automatically once brewing is complete. See User Manual to adjust default quantities to your preferences. Clean filter baskets after each use. For any stubborn milk residue on the steam wand, use DeLonghi Eco Multiclean Solution, available on delonghi.com. Promptly descale the machine when the Steam button light turns on (orange). Follow the detailed instruction on the User Manual.
