Plasma cu�ers require a compressed air supply and AC power to operate.

Plasma cu�ng can be performed on any type of conduc�ve metal-mild steel, aluminium and stainless are some examples. With mild steel, operators will experience faster, thicker cuts than with alloys. Oxy-fuel cuts by burning, or oxidizing the metal it is severing.

On thick material, set the machine to full output and vary your travel speed. On thinner material, you need to turn down the amperage and change to alower-amperage �p to maintain a narrow kerf.

The easiest way toreduce bevel is by cu�ng at the proper speed and height for the material andamperage that is being cut.
