  • Page 5 INTRODUCTION The mr Handsfree Blue Alert is a unique 2-in-1 device that combines a Bluetooth handsfree carkit with a legal GPS speed ® camera warning system. HANDSFREE CALLING FOLLOW THESE STEPS WHEN USING THE BLUE ALERT FOR THE FIRST TIME: Place the battery.

    Install the Blue Alert software on your PC. You can find this CD in the box. This CD contains download software. This software enables your PC to download the database with camera locations into your Blue Alert. Go to www.mrhandsfree.com to download the database into your Blue Alert. Connect the Blue Alert with the USB cable to your PC.

    The LED indicator (5) will light red when the charging process begins. The battery is fully charged when the red LED indicator (5) turns off. Important! • If the Blue Alert has not been used for a long time, it might take some time before the red LED indicator (5) will turn on. •...

    • call: Press the Central button (1) once shortly to answer the 2 call and to put the current call on hold. Press and hold the Central button (1) for 3 seconds to switch between two calls. Press the Central button (1) once during the 2 call, to end one of the two calls.

    • Restoring default settings of the Bluetooth carkit: ® In Standby mode, press and hold both Volume buttons (+) & (-) simultaneously for 10 seconds. You will hear: “Phonebook deleted” and the Blue LED indicator will flash rapidly. Press & hold both Volume buttons (+) & (-) simultaneously once again for 3 seconds.

    • Copy the contacts via Bluetooth to the Blue Alert (**). ® • As soon as the contacts are saved into the Blue Alert, you will hear: ‘ Contact(s) saved’ (***). Step 3: on the Blue Alert. • Press the Central button (1) once to re-activate the Bluetooth connection.

    MICROPHONE At all times, please point the microphone (6) (located in the LED screen) towards your mouth. For optimal performance, the microphone should be located at a maximum distance of 50 cm from the drivers’ mouth. Make sure no objects are located in front of the microphone. CONNECTION FOR EXTERNAL MICROPHONE (OPTIONAL) To improve sound quality of the conversations you are making through the Blue Alert you have the possibility to connect an additional external microphone.

    Installez le logiciel du Blue Alert sur votre ordinateur. Le CD avec le logiciel se trouve dans la boîte. Ce CD contient le logiciel du téléchargement. Ce logiciel permet votre ordinateur de télécharger les données des radars dans votre Blue Alert. Allez sur www.mrhandsfree.com pour télécharger la base de données dans votre Blue Alert.
