    AMSCO Reprocessing Sink are insured only if STERIS original parts and accessories (or parts and accessories approved by STERIS) are used for service, repairs, and modifications to this equipment. The replacement of spare parts must only be performed by STERIS or STERIS- trained technicians.
  • Page 12 If gap is too large, the tail piece will bottom out as sink is lowered, causing damage. If gap is too small, the tail piece will leak when sink is fully raised. Unplug unit when cleaning lifting columns or cleaning near controller. Causing unit to overheat too many times greatly reduces life of unit and could damage unit, making it inoperable, requiring replacement.

Install Mounting Shanks (on Pre-rinse Faucet) Insert Brass ½” NPT mounting shank (11001017) into pre-rinse faucet inlets using sealing tape and tighten. • Prevent damage to threads. Install Lines to Water Pistol and Air Gun and Test for Leaks Install supply hose connection for air gun using brass elbow (11001067) and air supply line (11001119) as shown using thread sealing tape. Test connection for leaks. Install braided stainless-steel supply line (11001115) for water pistol, using brass coupling (11000974) as shown.

  • Page 24 Section 3 — Installation 14. Assemble and Adjust Tail Piece to Lever Drain Assembly Ensure gasket is present in metal tail piece adapter. Raise adapter with tailpipe up to lever drain and be sure tailpipe fits as straight as possible so as to not introduce any unnecessary stress to the drain assembly.

  • Page 27 Section 3 — Installation 17. Install Seismic Anchors If seismic anchoring system will be installed, use (4) brackets provided (11002934) to mark floor for anchors. If the seismic anchoring system will not be installed, proceed to STEP 17. NOTE: Anchors include their own instructions. Remove 4 brackets (2 per foot) to install anchors, then re-install brackets and secure.

    Section 5 — Routine Maintenance Routine Maintenance 5.1 Routine Maintenance Daily Maintenance Procedure: Cleaning The following cleaning and disinfection procedure should be performed at least once per day. Usage may warrant higher cleaning and disinfection frequencies: Refer to facility’s policies and practices related to reprocessing sink usage.
