With valve-controlled accumulators – as for example on the Autopilot, Auto-Contour and on the concave adjustment – first slacken off the short-circuit bolt before carrying out any repair work on the accumula- tor.

Safety Rules Relieving the standard spreader accumulator Relieve the oil pressure from accumulator (D). This is done as follows: Start the engine and switch on master safety switch. Swing the standard spreader from the chopper position to the centre position between chopper and swathing position by pressing pushbutton (2).
