Figure 7 displays the SAS cables used to connect the RAID Controller SRCSAS18E to an
expander board. Perform the following steps to connect a RAID Controller SRCSAS18E
to an expander board, as shown in Figure 7.
1. Plug the 7-wire connector on the cable into the connector on a SAS RAID controller.
2. Plug the connector on the other end of the cable into the connector on an expander
board.
