Transferring directory entries to
other handsets
When you have logged on two or more
handsets to your Ascom Eurit 133 you can
transfer the entire directory or individual
entries from one handset to another. This
exchange is only possible within the maxi-
mum limit of 6 handsets (Ascom Eurit 133)
on your base station.

Before the transfer

Before you start the transfer you should
ensure that the receiving handset which is
to receive the data:
is logged on
is switched on
is within range of the base station
is not maintaining an active connec-
tion

Transmitting entries

At the transmitting handset:
Service function
Directory transf.
To handset 2
Directory
Single entry
1.
Select the menu "Directory
transf.".
2.
Select the receiving device.
3.
Select "Single entry" to transmit a
single entry only.
The connection is established. The message
"Prepare handset 2" appears.
4.
Select an entry.
5.
Start the transfer by pressing the
Connect key.

Receiving entries

At the receiving device:
1.
The device must be on.
2.
Within 60 seconds reply "
the message "Directory transf.,
From handset 1".
Note:
If you have sent an individual entry
you can immediately select a further
entry and transfer it.
If necessary enter the PIN of the
receiving handset.
Already existing entries are not
overwritten; they are stored twice.
If during transfer of the entire
directory the receiving directory
becomes full, the message "Delete
the directory? YES/NO" appears.
If you press "YES", first your
entire present directory content is
cleared and then the transfer
commences.
If you press "NO", the handset
assumes the On state and the
transfer is ended.
