- Page 13 Step 1: Select the loca�on where you want to install the rear camera Recommended Loca�on 1: Above the rear license plate Device Rear camera To mount the rear camera, remove the protec�ve covering on the double-sided tape of the rear camera and secure it above the license plate as close to the center of the vehicle as possible.

Use the pry tool to remove the tailgate trim strip as shown below, and then insert the rear camera cable into the trunk of the vehicle through the holes revealed.
