Note:
The fuse blade size and fuse tap type vary with your vehicle. Please check your fuse box to find which type of fuse blade and fuse tap your vehicle needs.

Installation

Connection Quick-View

1. Connects to dash cam for power
2. Connects to ACC fuse slot
3. Connects to constant fuse slot
4. Connects to metal ground screw/bolt of the fuse box

1. Use the pry tool to remove the edges of decorative paneling in the vehicle and expose the wiring underneath. Run the power cable along the top of the front windshield and down the structural pillar to the vehicle's fuse box. Ensure that this does not interfere with your driving vision and does not impede your ability to operate your vehicle in a safe manner. See the figure below for assistance.
   Note:
   Occasionally fuse boxes can be located in different areas such as under the hood. You can also look under the dashboard below the steering wheel. Most fuse boxes are clearly marked with the word "FUSES".
   
2. Connect the yellow wire of the hardwire kit with one type of fuse taps that your vehicle requires.
   

Tips:
How to select a fuse tape the vehicle requires: If the removed fuse blade from the fuse box can be inserted into the fuse tape provided, then it is the correct fuse tape.

Note:
Ensure that the transparent so silicone tube is used to affix the two connections together and keep the wires from contacting any metal surfaces.

3. Locate the vehicle fuse box and find the constant fuse slot in it. The constant fuse slot always has power even when the vehicle is off.
   
4. Remove the original fuse blade in the constant fuse slot and install it into the boom slot of the fuse tap of yellow wire.
   
5. Insert the same sized fuse blade provided into the top slot of the fuse tap on the yellow wire.
   
6. Connect the fuse tap on the yellow wire to the constant fuse slot of your vehicle.
   
7. Remove the original fuse tape in the ACC fuse slot and insert the fuse tap of the red wire into the ACC fuse slot.
   
8. Crimp the black wire and screw it down to any non-coated metal screw/bolt in your vehicle to the ground wire.
   
9. Connect the power connector of the hardwire kit to your dash cam to supply it with power.
