- Page 8 Step 1: Use the pry tool to remove the edges of decora�ve paneling in the vehicle and expose the wiring underneath. Run the power cable along the top of the front windshield and down the structural pillar to the vehicle's fuse box. Ensure that this does not interfere with your driving vision and does not impede your ability to operate your vehicle in a safe manner.
- Page 9 Note: Occasionally fuse boxes can be located in different areas such as under the hood. You can also look under the dashboard below the steering wheel. Most fuse boxes are clearly marked with the word "FUSES". Step 2: Connect the yellow wire of the hardwire kit with one type of fuse taps that your vehicle requires.
- Page 10 Note: Ensure that the transparent so� silicone tube is used to affix the two connec�ons together and keep the wires from contac�ng any metal surfaces. Step 3: Locate the vehicle fuse box and find the constant fuse slot in it. The constant fuse slot always has power even when the vehicle is off.
- Page 11 Step 4： Remove the original fuse blade in the constant fuse slot and install it into the bo�om slot of the fuse tap of yellow wire. Step 5： Insert the same sized fuse blade provided into the top slot of the fuse tap on the yellow wire.
- Page 12 Step 6: Connect the fuse tap on the yellow wire to the constant fuse slot of your vehicle. Step 7: Remove the original fuse tape in the ACC fuse slot and insert the fuse tap of the red wire into the ACC fuse slot.
- Page 13 Step 8： Crimp the black wire and screw it down to any non-coated metal screw/bolt in your vehicle to the ground wire. Step 9: Connect the power connector of the hardwire kit to your dash cam to supply it with power.
