    1.6 CARE & MAINTENANCE DO NOT USE SOLVENTS FOR CLEANING THIS APPLIANCE. WARNING Before cleaning the external parts of the dryer unplug the electrical cord. All external parts of the appliance can be cleaned using a soft, damp cloth and mild detergent, such as mild dish washing soap. 1.6.1 CLEANING THE LINT FILTER The drum may be HOT especially immediately after use, it is important to ensure sufficient time has passed to allow for cooling of the drum surfaces before attempting clean the lint filter.

    1.6.2 CLEANING THE AIR INLET FILTER Air inlet filter 1. The air inlet filter is located at the bottom of the appliance. Pull it out as shown. 2. Remove any dust from the lint filter by using your hands, a soft cloth or a soft brush as shown. If removal of the lint proves difficult, the lint filter may also be cleaned with the assistance of COLD water and a soft cloth or brush, a mild dish washing detergent may also be used.

    1.7.1 DISPLAYED ERROR MESSAGES Your Rinnai Gas Dryer has a self diagnostic capability. If a fault occurs, an error code will flash on the digital monitor. This assists with diagnosing the fault, and may enable you to overcome a problem without a service call. Please quote the code displayed when enquiring about service.

    2.1 INSTALLATION WARNINGS The following section contains technical information regarding the installation of the product. For what concerns issues related to the installation (safety, environmental protection, accident prevention, etc.) it is necessary to respect the dictates of the current legislation and the principles of good technique. IMPORTANT Under the current law, the systems must be held by qualified professionals.

    The gas meter and regulator must be specified for the total gas rate. 2.4.2 ELECTRICAL CONNECTION This appliance is supplied with a 1.5 metre long power cord with a three pin plug. Rinnai recommends that the dryer be plugged into a dedicated 230V± 10%, 50Hz earthed power point.

    2.4.4 CHANGING DOOR OPENING DIRECTION The dryer access door may be swapped from a left handed opening as supplied from the factory to a right handed opening. When changing door opening direction ensure the appropriate clearances are provided. Refer to position the appliance in accordance with the requirements listed under in “2.

    Exhaust duct system Rinnai gas dryers must be installed with Rinnai gas dryer exhaust duct components. Exhaust pipe diameter is 80mm. It is recommended to not exceed 8m and 2 x 90° bends. Reduce the length by 2 meters for each additional bend.

    3.1 GAS CONVERSION AND GAS PRESSURE ADJUSTMENT Only qualified professionals are authorized to carry out the operations described. The product warranty does not cover any alterations due to non-qualified personnel. The min and max gas operating pressures are factory pre-set: under normal circumstances any adjustment is not required during IMPORTANT installation.
