6) If a component has been deployed on the master server, you need
to uninstall it in the Deploy tab of the Intelligent Deployment
Monitoring Agent window.
If the iMC intelligent deployment monitoring agent has been
installed on the slave servers, uninstall it before deploying iMC
components in distributed mode.
The following example assumes that the IP address of the
master server is 192.168.4.44 and the HTTP port is 8080.
The username and password of the super user for the system
are both admin.
In the case of distributed deployment, to ensure that all servers
are in the same running state, you are recommended to use the
Network Time Protocol (NTP) to synchronize the time on all
servers.
The following describes how to deploy iMC in distributed mode.
Installing the intelligent deployment monitoring agent
1) Start the remote installation wizard
iMC provides two approaches to start the remote installation wizard:
through the Web browser and through the iMC installation CD.
Start the remote installation wizard through the Web browser
First, on the slave servers, open the Web browser and access
http://192.168.4.44:8080/imc. The iMC login page appears. Type the
username and password, and then click Login. The Home tab
appears.
