  • Page 9 By default the SW-AC handheld will display the total load on the load cells. To obtain a total load: Switch on by pressing . The display will now show the gross load on all load cells programmed into system. To tare the display to zero press . If a wireless printer is supplied pressing will print the total and individual loads.
  • Page 10 To view individual load cell loads: While in ‘total mode’ press and hold for three seconds.  The display will show ‘input 1' and will then display the load on load cell 1 (each load cell is stamped with a number). To view each load cell load press to cycle through each programmed input.

  • Page 13 When the load cell batteries are getting low (1-2 hours remaining) the “BATT LO” annunciator will display. When the batteries are low they should be replaced.   • Page 14 When the handheld batteries are getting low (1-2 hours remaining) the “BATLO” annunciator will display. When the batteries are low they should be replaced with two AA alkaline cells. To change the batteries remove the two screws holding the battery cover on the rear of the device. Remove and replace the batteries.
  • Page 15 While these devices are sealed to IP65/NEMA4X standards, they should not be immersed in water. The effects of solvent on the device can not be guaranteed, and should therefore be avoided. Avoid use within 20-30 minutes of rapid changes in temperature, for example moving the device from a cold vehicle into a warm room. The change in temperature can affect the accuracy of the device.

  • Page 17 These products are supplied with a certificate of calibration which is valid for one year. After this date, it is recommended the device is recalibrated by Straightpoint or an approved calibration laboratory. Contact the Straightpoint service department or your supplier for more information. In the unlikely event of this device failing, fit new batteries and re-test.
