IMPORTANT: PLEASE KEEP THIS INSTRUCTION MANUAL FOR FUTURE REFERENCE !
TOOLS REQUIRED
1. Apply automotive masking tape around the factory plastic
chrome surround and above on the GMC emblem. It is also
recommended that you apply a layer of masking tape on the
painted portion of the front bumper as shown. The tape is ap-
plied to the emblem to prevent the heavy mesh from scratch-
ing that surround when placing it on the grille.
3. Upper radiator grille cover removed. Note the locations of the
ten (10) pushpin locations (shown with tape).

Flat blade screw driver or clip removal tool, 11/32" or 9mm shallow socket, quarter socket drive, 1/4" drill bit, power drill, auto-
motive quality masking tape, awl or other pointed tool, side cut tool, scissors, 11/32" or 9mm box/open end wrench

2. Remove the ten (10) pushpins on the upper grille cover inside the
hood. Use a flat-blade screw driver or a clip removal tool. See image
below for all clip locations. Place the pushpins in a cup so you do not
misplace them.
4. Using the supplied drilling template and an awl or other pointed tool,
mark the upper left & right hole locations. Please note that these two
locations require drilling. MARK THESE HOLES BEFORE YOU IN
STALL THE MESH & USE THE WIRE TIES to hold the mesh to the
factory grille on the next page.
