- Page 2 • Before applying load, be certain all movable bolster supporting pins are fully engaged. Make sure movable bolster lift cables (if equipped) are slack before pressing on bolster. Make sure shield is positioned at proper height and locked in position. • Always use an accurate force gauge to measure pressing force. • Some attachments, adapters and accessories are rated lower than the press capacity. Do not exceed their rating. • Do not tamper with the press load-limiting device settings. • Do not go near leaks. High pressure hydraulic fluid can puncture skin and cause serious injury, gangrene, or death. Do not use finger or skin to check for leaks. If injured, seek emergency medical help as immediate surgery is required to remove the fluid. • Release hydraulic pressure before loosening any fittings. • Failure to heed and understand these instructions and markings may result in serious or fatal personal injury and/or property damage. WARNING: This product can expose you to chemicals including nickel which is known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm.
