    ECP 3-4-28-30-32-34 Data: 04/2025 2 Alternator presentation The ECP-C series alternators are self-regulating, brushless, 2 or 4 poles. They are equipped with a rotating inductor (1) fitted with a damper cage and stationary armature with inclined grooves. The winding is short pitched so as to reduce the harmonics.

    Data: 04/2025 4 Transportation, movement and storage. Alternators of the ECP-C series are shipped by land on pallets, by sea in fumigated wooden crates. Other shipping methods are available upon customer request. The cases shipped by sea are covered with nylon to avoid salt infiltration that could compromise the correct operation of the alternator.
  • Page 24 Unpack the alternator carefully without breaking/damaging the packing materials. Both the cases (equipped with metal hinges so that they may be folded) and the pallet must be returned to Mecc Alte. Once the single-bearing alternator is unpacked do not cut the tie strips of the rotor to prevent it from sliding.

    The rotors of the Mecc Alte alternators and the alternators themselves comply with the regulations (see paragraph 1.5). This means that the vibrations generated by the Mecc Alte alternators are very limited and compliant with the regulations.
