Please send us only disinfected devices in their original packaging, without used accessories (e.g., ventilation hoses, humidification chambers, masks, etc.).

    3. Hygienic processing before service work WARNING: Risk of infection due to inadequate cleaning and disinfection! • Untreated devices from patients may be contaminated with infectious germs. To avoid the risk of infection, perform the steps listed in the following table before starting service work. •...

    3. Touch both sensor buttons again for at least 3 seconds. 4. Enter the PIN code for the service section. The factory default PIN code is "1234". In case of an unknown changed PIN code, please contact heyer medical AG. 5. Perform the desired operations in the service section.
  • Page 7 The following operations can be performed via the submenus of the service section. a) Set filter change period. b) Calibrate pressure sensor (detailed information in section “Pressure sensor calibration”). c) Reset the device to the factory settings. d) Load therapy settings from an SD card to the device. e) Save therapy settings of the device to an SD card.
  • Page 8 f) Perform disinfection of the device using the Keredusy® procedure. Note: Please refer to the Instructions for use of the Keredusy device. The preset flow value of 60 L/min can be adjusted if necessary. g) Change PIN code for the service section.

    5. Data transfer An SD card is included in the scope of delivery of the respiratory therapy device. Only insert the SD card when the device is switched off or in standby mode. The slot for the SD card is located on the left side of the device behind the SD card cover.

    6. Software upgrade The device has a function for software upgrades. Software upgrades are provided by heyer. These must first be saved to the SD card. The following steps must then be performed. 1. Disconnect the power supply unit from the device.

    7. Pressure sensor calibration Note: In the following, the pressure sensor calibration is described in connection with the "CITREX H5" of IMT Analytics AG. Alternatively, the calibration can also be carried out with other calibrated pressure measuring instruments where the measuring range includes 30 hPa.
  • Page 12 6. Start calibration and use the "+" and "-" buttons to adjust the preset value for the blower motor speed until the IMT.Analytics CITREX H5 displays 30.00 hPa ± 0.10 hPa. 7. End the calibration process using the stop button (square) and confirm the calibration results using the confirm button (checkmark).

    8. After completion of service work Make sure that after the service work has been performed, the unit and all accessories are in a Hygienic processing usable condition. This includes a proper hygienic condition (see section “ before service work ”).
