Chapter 1 FCOMP/-PRO Principles General introduction General introduction FiberCompletePRO™ is the first solution to fully automate all the fundamental fiber-qual- ification tests, such as bidirectional insertion loss (IL), optical return loss (ORL) and optical time domain reflectometry (OTDR), with one module from one optical port. For high fiber count projects, it is now possible to automatically test up to 12 ribbon fibers with the Multi-fiber MPO optical switch module.
