Trim Rail Installation Accessories (included):
2 Stator Panels
Trim Rail Fasteners
Tools required (not included):
Soft mallet or hammer & wooden cushion block
Small slot screw driver (1/8 inch)
Phillips screw driver
9/32 socket or nut driver
Small thin cushion.
1
Turn off amp. Unplug speaker A C cord. Disconnect
the speaker cables from the Aeon.
2
Gently lay the speaker on it's back. Use the cushion in
order to protect the binding post from the weight of
the speaker.
3
Bump the bottom of the front vertical trim pieces with
either the soft mallet or hammer and wooden block.
Be sure to tap the fat part of the rail. Use the cushion
block in order to prevent damage to the bottom of the
front trim by the impact of the hammer. The trim will
slide upwards about ¾ inch then pop off. (see figure
1).
4
Gently lift the upper end of the stator panel away
from the speaker cabinet. Now you can slide the sta-
tor panel up enough to be free of the curved support
channel (see figure 2).
Note: The stator panel is still held by the wires on one side.
Carefully lift the other side of the panel away from
the speaker cabinet like opening a book and support the
panel in this position (see figure 3).
Loosen the three screws of the terminal block cover
plate that is located just behind the bottom edge of
the stator panel (see figure 4).
Loosen the three screw securing the ends of the braid-
ed stator panel wires (see figure 5).
Pull the stator panel free from the speaker.

New Stator Panel Installation
5
Remove top rubber trim piece from old stat panel.
Peel backer from tape on new stat panels rear top
edge. Install rubber trim piece on new panel.
6
Feed the stator panel wires down through the channel
to the screw terminal. Position the new stator panel on
its edge in the "open book" position (see figure 3).
Place the exposed ends of the new panel wires into
the terminals and tighten the set screws to secure the
wires. Be sure to match the color sequence (see figure 5).
Pack the excesss wire into the cavity. Reinstall the ter-
minal block cover plate that is located just behind the
bottom edge of the stator panel (see figure 4).
7
Position the stator panel into place being careful to align
the top of the panel with the top of the cabinet. Gently
work the panel into the support channel. Also be sure to
center the panel between the fasteners of the cabinet
8
Position the vertical trim pieces on the front of the
speaker. Be careful to align the 3 hidden fasteners of
each trim piece (see figure 6).
Firmly press the rail to the cabinet, allowing the rail
fasteners to align with the cabinet fasteners. While
holding the rail in this fashion, bump the trim with
the mallet in order to catch the fasteners. Drive them
downward to lock. If any fasteners miss, try again (see
figure 7).
WARNING: The pin heads of the fasteners
are very delicate and will easily snap off. If
they do, use the 9/32 socket to remove the
catch pin and replace it with a new provided
pin (see figure 8).
9
Up-right the speaker. Re-connect the speaker cables
and A.C. cord.
