Installation Without Backrest

IMPORTANT: Use the Roadster
without backrest for children who
weigh between 65 and 100 lbs.

Place the Roadster forward facing
onto the vehicle seat. Place the
child onto the Roadster

Take the lap and shoulder belt
and place over the body of the child
and fasten the seat belt.

The lap portion of the three point
belt must be under the arm rests.
The lap belt portion should be as
low as possible, tightened over the
legs of the child.

Place the shoulder part of the belt
over the upper torso of the child.
The shoulder belt must be routed
under the armrest.

Tighten the belt and make sure
the belt is not twisted and never
behind the back of the child.

Have the backrest lay directly
horizontal with booster seat.

Push backrest into storage area
(Fig. B)

When it is in its booster seat
only position, grab the carry han-
dle to transport (Fig. C).
